A native of West Marin, Adrienne Baumann graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in American literature. She pursued her passion with words as a writer for various Bay Area publications, including the Point Reyes Light, until her sense of adventure led her to Italy for a three month internship. The temporary position ultimately lasted six years and launched her into an international career in sales and marketing. Baumann returned to northern California in 2001 where she turned her appreciation of Italian food, wine and culture surrounding “la tavola” into a profession in management at one of the Bay Area’s top Italian restaurants. She is delighted to return to her roots and brings her familiarity with the Italians’ local, seasonal food traditions to the table at Marin Organic.
