Liana Orlandi joined Marin Organic after five years owning and operating an organic artisanal gelato shop. As a supporting business member of Marin Organic, Liana became a dedicated advocate of the local organic food movement, and in 2008 was invited by Slow Food Marin/Petaluma to serve as a delegate to Terra Madre. At Marin Organic Liana is combining her passion for sustainability with the satisfaction of putting her research and writing skills to work. She has a Master's degree in Art History from U.C. Davis, and earned a B.A. in French Studies from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Liana has experience with a variety of non-profit arts organizations, including the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, National Institute of Art and Disabilities, Morris Graves Art Museum, and the Portland Art Museum. With six years teaching experience, Liana is committed to Marin Organic's mission to provide experiential learning. She provided French immersion instruction at the French-American International School from pre-school students to eighth grade, and taught lower-division art history at U.C. Davis during her graduate studies.
