Diane Matthew has been growing organic vegetables and fruit at her farm perched on the east side of Mt. Barnabe for 16 years. Before she became a farmer, Diane was a nurse who had always enjoyed gardening and figured she would just expand her garden.Diane also raises Navajo churro sheep, Dominique chickens (for eggs), a couple of pot belly pigs and three very happy dogs on her farm. Diane believes in the vision of many small farms producing for local consumption.
