Nestled on the edge of Richardson Bay, Piatti is a contemporary restaurant grounded in classic Italian tradition. Intent on bringing the best flavors to the table, as well as supporting local sustainable agriculture, Piatti has formed partnerships with Marin Organics and M.A.L.T. - one could say they are putting their money where their mouth is. Piatti’s menu will change regularly to celebrate the seasonal bounty of our local farmland; some menu items to look forward to in the coming months include “Long Cooked” Italian Pot Roast, with Celeriac Pasatto & Cavolo Nero from Star Route Farms, and Bucatini with House-Cured Guanciale, Prosciutto, Onions, Tomato, Hot Pepper & Pecorino Romano. Piatti’s Executive Chef Chris Fernandez is a master of translating the soul of authentic Italian cuisine to Northern California’s refined palate. Inspired by his time spent cooking in Europe, Chris’s approach to his menu is, “from the Italian perspective – simple, respect for the ingredient’s innate flavor, from the bottom of the plate up.”
